Tournaments 2022
Bank of Hemet Team Tournament 2022
Thanks to a grant from the Bank of Hemet, nine teams competed at the Lakes of Hemet West on December 14-16, with Jay Davidson as the ATM. 12 frame games were played with no elimination so everyone got to play throughout the 3 days, against other teams that they would not normally meet in league play, making for a diverse fun experience.
A food drive was conducted as well, with 4 prizes given out for the most donations, totaling over 500 cans that were delivered to the Community Pantry!
Winners
Award plaques were given to the winning teams by District 7 President, Geore Hayner.

David Miller Memorial Mens/Ladies Singles Tournament 2022
The ATM's pulled it off -- two tournaments ran simultaneously at Heather Estates, a newly renewed CSA member, on Aug. 15-17. Interspersed throughout the 8 boards, the men competed amongst each other while the Ladies did the same, resulting in a fun, busy pair of tournaments. A 50/50 drawing was held at the end, as well as drawings for other prizes including a handmade quilt and assorted gift basket.
This tournament is dedicated to the memory of David Miller, a former very active member of the Heather Estates shuffleboard club.

Bonspiel Tournament 2022
Hemet Muni was the site of the annual Bonspiel on June 6-8, 2022. This is a favorite for those afraid of going in the kitchen - no points off! Instead everyone plays 6 games and are divided into 4 color divisions based on the first two game's wins/losses. The winners are determined by the game points (0 loss, 1 tie, 2 win). When there are ties, the spread points determine the rank.
Special thanks to ATM Carol Anderson, head referee George Hayner, head scorekeeper Carol Blassingame, as well as the board crew and the lunch crew.
